One of the best days of my life. Got in just before they started Dancin'. Was just house left, a great view of the stage. An interesting, and pleasing first set, made much so by Stagger. By the start of the second set I was at the top of the lawn, with the the onset of peaking. Then, BOOM, you open the set with Morning Dew? I was well beyond Pluto at that moment.

Great choice. They played Marin Civic the year before for a Halloween run, but I got shut out. Scored on the April Fool's shows, though, and I got to see this one.

I saw Zero with Kahn on bass at a one-off club in Oakland near Lake Merritt maybe in late 90 or 91? Maybe called the Parkside. They played a version of No Woman No Cry that went off for approaching 20 minutes, some of the best Kimock I ever heard. I've been looking for tape ever since. Interesting to see Kahn on this bill.
